Excellent butchers! best in town with some incredible cuts you cant find anywhere else. Knowledgeable staff as well and the Best Bacon I have tasted! Highly recommend going here for local butcher needs!

Now this butchery has some fabulous cuts of meat and meat dishes. They also sell good pizzas, fish pies plus other assorted fresh small goods. If you want some really nice meat you will get it here. It is wee bit more expensive but it is very good quality. Car parking is ok although it does get busy and congested in the Edgeware Village area.

Love shopping here . The meat is so fresh and staff are awesome. Best butcher in Christchurch and I love how they support local community events.

So after hearing much hype and all the cheers peter timbs ads i thought id give you a crack but to be perfectly honest your stuff really isnt that much better than the supermarket.. your bacon isnt even dry cured comes out the packet slimy and wet and goes watery and shrinks when it hits the pan.. tastes pretty average to, meats ok but nothing im going to rave about, you label yourself as being around since 1870 or whatever but you dont bring any of the old butchery taste and skill, halswell butchery is leagues above you guys on quality and flavour, your salami isnt to bad though and has that nice traditional smoke flavour
