I have learned from Reuben for approximately 15 years. Himself & the teaching team at Salsa Latina have always been kind, welcoming & make you feel at home. Level of teaching is great, always leave class feeling like you have accomplished what was taught & plenty of opportunity is given to practice what is being taught. A great variety of classes/styles are on offer. Can not recommend Salsa Latina enough. You are literally learning from one of the best ️

Owner is a great teacher!!! Well run classes and prices hit a sweet spot, enough to challenge people but cost effective. Would be the most popular school in Christchurch if he looked after relationships with people. Clear communication and maintaining existing clients would prevent everyone jumping ship. Its all about that personal touch.

Definitely a top dance school in New Zealand. I really enjoy the classes and the technique taught here. All teachers are very skilled, patient and make you feel at ease. It's also a lot of fun. Definitely recommend whether you're a beginner or already addicted to dancing!!

I started dancing at Salsa Latina a little over a year ago now. Before starting classes, I always wanted to learn partner dancing, after finding and trying to join in with a few socials overseas. At Salsa Latina, you’re encouraged to go to social nights, which there are plenty of to practice and progress quicker and dancers are supported to compete if ready. After one year I’ve found... an amazing group of friends, fun nights out, quick progression, better coordination and a love for learning competition routines. Everyone should give dancing a go and this is a great place to start!

When I first came to Salsa Latina I had no Latin dance experience at all, so it was a bit daunting. But they made me feel so relaxed, the environment is really friendly and the classes are fun but also really clear and very skilled. You learn so much each time, and its addictive! I do salsa and bachata classes and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for something new and fun with some really great knowledgeable people.
