A great traditional Catholic Boys college. The up keep and Manor of the College is excellent. But I do have to say that the level of respect from many of the boys is Disgraceful there reputation will be greatly effected if they don't fix this.

A traditional catholic boys school that focuses on academic, cultural and sporting excellence. St Bedes does a superb job with creating a learning environment that allows new entrants to foster excellence with regards to their own personal achievement. Having been a parent of the school I can say this with sincerity.

I have just had the unfortunate experience of sharing Bethany Park Camp in Kaiteriteri, with a group of boys from St Bedes College, who I could only describe as a group of ill mannered, loud mouthed boys. Their behaviour on camp can only be described as disgraceful and disrespectful to other people using the camp. They ripped down showers rails and shower curtains, also shower heads in the men's shower block. The facility was also flooded out. Such a shame that St. Bedes reputation as been let down. Expect more.

My Son received very good professional support and care from the international students care liason person Mr Rob Tappendum as well as his present/ past hall masters and his form teacher. He will be graduating soon and I am very pleased with how he has developed in his years at St Bede’s.

I remember rugby practise, skiing school trips, Mr Lennon's cane, smoking behind the squash courts, practising the school haka in the quadrangle, watching our first XV at Lancaster Park. Great school, good memories.
