Best stuff in Christchurch by far! Constantly replenishing stock for fresh goods seemingly on the hour. Love my cash going to my favourite voluntary organisation. ️️️️

Do NOT visit their Christchurch store while we are at Level 2 as it is very unsafe. They have no changes to the store layout to make it safe to move around. For example they have the shoe display crammed in the same space as they had the changing rooms. Even when I waited for people to get of the way to so I could safely visit part of store people were coming within a metre of me. I felt very unsafe. To compound this I looked for a register and didn't find one which made me feel even more unsafe. I was eventually able to speak to somebody I assume was senior staff member who told me they didn't need to register people and was totally closed to the idea of changing the layout of the store. The other businesses in the area have put a lot of work in to make their stores safe for level 2 while St John Community Store doesn't seem to have received the memo.

Friendly staff, love the range of mens and womens label clothing and kids clothes cheap as chips. LP's, antique books galore, what a surprise. Lovely shop!
