Having been to Thailand I loved the food and its made me a bit of a picky person when it comes to quality Thai food. I lived in Sydney for 10 years and the Thai there is amazing. finally I've found a place in chch that is as good as any I've had in Sydney or Thailand. Its authentic and so yummy!! The penang curry is my favourite. We get it for take aways once a week!! Highly recommended to everybody that likes great food. :)

The Thai box is rated on the top 10 list of the restaurants in Christchurch. The food is excellent and there are à great variety of choices between soups, salads, rice dishes, pan fried dishes. The waiters are efficient and friendly. Though a little bit higher in price than other thai places I know of.

Ok so you are at the polytechnic and you want to show off to one of the girls or boys in your class this is the best place to take them in the area. While not a cheap student place the food is good the tables are not too crowded and if you want to head into the city from here it is just a short walk. Had the bonus of a couple of bands playing for free in the boxed quarter and some interesting arts demonstrations.
Amazing pineapple fried rice with real pineapple But it’s a bit slow in serving the dishes at that day.
Ordered the chicken basil garlic and chilli stir-fry on uber eats, it was nice flavour but the chicken was chicken mince....don't know if that is normal or not but for the price it shouldn't be!!!
Food amazing, Male manager fab, wait long but made up with discounted bottle of wine and complementary dish defo go again
