Went here for my 1st anniversary wedding celebration, we were excited about it ! I ordered a medium rare steak ( rest of the meal wasn't great), it came out medium well ! My wife wouldn't let me complain at the time because she doesn't like making a scene!! So I messaged them privately with constructive criticism and a picture of my dry over cooked steak .. no response and blocked from their Facebook page ! Not good treatment at all .. I'll never go back ..

Not a gastro pub by any stretch of the imagination. It's a semi fancy bar with a games room and animal heads on the wall.
This is a place that every town in NZ should have. Good service, good wine and good burgers.
