Great morning spent here looking at the animals. Great walking tracks to follow around and can get nice and close to the enclosures. Able to hand feed a large majority of the animals which makes it really interactive. We also had lunch at the cafe at Willowbank and were pleased with all our food and drinks. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey but we used an Entertainment book voucher to get a discount. Pretty good deals if you want to buy a year pass.

It's a great park, lots of birds and animals to see and It's easy to visit with children (you can bring a stroller, and we were even allowed to being our toddler's balance bike (although it was not very handy at all, he forgot about it as soon as he entered)). Our toddler especially loves the farm animals area. Feeding the eels is always a big hit with the kids, so definitely recommend getting the eel food at the very least :) The yearly pass is great deal! Under 5s are free.

Place was really packed when I visited last year, but was fun nevertheless. A good mix of exotic and native animals. Can spend an hour or two here no problem. There are activities for kids if you have them.

Nice place to go, it's serene and quite nice to have a close up with all the animals. The animals themselves are very friendly and can even eat out of your hand. I'll definitely be going there again!

Great local small-scale nature park. Good deals for family pass if you are local, unique kiwi experience if you are a global visitor - you cash see active kiwis in their nocturnal area. Great for younger kids especially, lots of tame animals to pet and feed, and will meet expectations so long as you don't think you're coming to a big commercial zoo! More quiet after 2pm, take 2-3 hours to see it all at a relaxed pace. Good cafe as well. Wheelchair and pram friendly.

Great experience. It reveals your inner child especially the feeding of animals part. And it's great to be able to see kiwis too!!

Stunning winter's day with half of ChCh! Plenty of room to move around though. Baby animals in the Farmyard were a delight! Had the greatest kiwi experience having it rustle along the fence line beside us along most of the exhibit. Very cool! Food in the cafe was yummy and pretty good range to choose from.

Been there years ago and enjoyed every minute of the Maori experience with a friend. Still a talking point in conversations. Hopefully I will be able to be back soon.
