The website needs to change it hours to closed not open to 5pm. Dissapointing driving all that way for nothing!!

A good selection of items for a small museum, could use some TLC in the garden. Also some of the exhibits were outside where nature is hammering them to bits but very nice.

Nice museum. They have a big range of cars including a few racing cars, old technology including printers and computers and an old fire truck and station setup. Great place to take kids to.

Set on a farm like area it has been around a long time think they started building it around late 60's. it offers a very unique experience of New Zealand’s technological past, and is close to the center of Christchurch and not far from the Airport. Well worth going if this type of thing is your cup of tea as a lot of work has been put in to make this an enjoyable experience. Even if your not into these things you can appreciate the hard work and life long ambition put into it. It has an on site cafe you can use even if you don't go into the museum, which is great if someone in your party doesn't want to go into the museum. The cafe is open to the public 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sundays. Offers barista coffee and plenty of fresh food well worth stopping for something to eat. Hard to find places that have had so much passion put into it the collection would never be able to be replaced now days or would cost a fortune. Great to have in the city and needs to be kept going so future generations can experience it. Well done.

Great place for the mechanically minded and kids interests in vehicles. No coverages between buildings, better for warmer weather. Cafe antler.. expensive food and limited choices. Food was very nice though.

Great place to look at older cars ... many are in the restoration process or past it but its still an adventure. If you go as a club usually you will be invited to working and storage areas others don't get a chance too .. well worth a look at and the coffee shop is nice too for a hot or cold drink and something light to eat
