Wow wow wow. Amazing view and great fun. Jumped off the pier which was fun with ladders half wY and at the end to climb back up. There were a bunch of folks fishing at the end and some had caught fish although I didn't try.
Pretty wee place, fairly peaceful to sit and look over the ocean. The pier often has a lot of people fishing. People like jumping off the wharf in the summer!
Awesome place to find star fish and crabs. The warf is a good place to go fishing and a good launch area for boats. Great area for families to hang out and not far of a walk to cornwallas beach
Pretty area, so secluded and yet close to the city. This wharf was popular today with people fishing, I also saw people kayaking and one person swimming (late autumn today). There was pretty views over the bay and the wharf is nice too.
It's a decent wharf that is popular for fishing. The beach is good for boat launching as the area around has hard packed sand, although parking can get busy. The odd camper seems to set up on the grass area near the carpark, but there are no real facilities here (long drop toilet only).
Love this place. from the east side of Auckland. calmer beaches and fresh air while you hike. great place to past your time through fishing.
Cornwallis Wharf is for fishing and boating. It's not a easy thing to fishing here.
