Serene, cozy place with beautiful landscape. A great destination to rest and relax. We walked up the short hill and enjoyed the view. The host is very friendly and we also got to feed the sheep.
Our travel guide Michael Ness of Guest New Zealand booked us for three nights at the Burn Cottage Retreat. The high point of our trip was going to the Fjordlands and experiencing its natural beauty. Or so we thought until we got to the retreat in Cromwell. Here we discovered a piece of heaven. My wife and I wished we could have stayed longer and have decided to do so when we come back next time. The host was gracious, the housing relaxing, the food fresh and the location ideal (we could walk to four wineries). If I could give 10 stars I would, it’s that good.
Stunning tranquil location, gorgeous cottages with everything you need set amongst beautiful gardens. Super hosts. Love it. Will definitely return.
Great amenities. Comfortable, well appointed private cottages, Beautiful gardens and grounds to explore. Cecelia is a friendly, accommodating host. This quiet piece of paradise is the perfect place relax and unwind. Central to Wanaka, Arrowtown, and Queenstown makes quick day trips a breeze. Also great hikes and wine tours all around the Clive area.
