Fish n chips here was really good. Crispy batter and chips. Pricing is a bit above average, but not too bad for fresh, local fish. They sell aioli for 1 which made me very happy. Probably the best fish n chips in Dargaville now that Spudnicks is gone.

The judges need to look no further for New Zealands best fresh fish and chips. My new stop in Dargaville for Gurnard and chips how they should be. Real friendly staff and realistic pricing too. Keep up the good work guys!.

We had snapper, hoki, potato and kumara chips. Delicious! Then we got the cinnamon donut which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The best! All served with warmth and kindness. Thank you.

Really nice place to stop for fish and chips. Excellent value, friendly service and spotless. We had the hoki meal. Fish, chips, salad, tartare and salad dressing....all for 10! A good cup of tea too. Really recommend this place

I ordered the local Kaipara flounder meal - delish! Comes with home made salad dressing (old school kiwi favourite) and home made tartare. The fish was so fresh which is hard to come by these days. Totally recommend this place, the owners are lovely.

Our meals were delicious! I had raw fish, hubby had the gurnard burger and the boy had hoki chips and salad. Fantastic! Clean, good value, excellent service!
