This is a fantastic place. I love how I meet new people and yet I can loose myself in what I'm doing. I get to learn new things that I've wanted to have a go at. Thanks to all the great and friendly people that work there.
Wonderful place to go, with a plethora of free art based activities. Everything from painting, pottery to music. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
I went to Artsenta to watch a Fringe Festival play named 'Mental Notes' performed by Suitcase Theatre on experiences of people with mental illness. The play was beautifully executed and covered a range of emotions that many in the audience were empathetic to. Tea, coffee and biscuits followed giving people a chance to share their experiences too among the cast and crew. Artsenta is a space for those with mental illness to create works of art if their own. It was the ideal place and space to perform this play. All profits from the three shows have gone to Suicide Prevention - Wellness Trust.
