This Japanese restaurant was very busy with many people and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We could order a drink if so desired and water was bought to our tables. You could order a vegan or gluten free meal if so required. All our meals came out and everyone enjoyed them. A great night out was had by us.

This is the weirdest Japanese restaurant we've been to. Not your traditional Japanese, more like Japanese Philippino fusion. For example, agedashi tofu is not soft tofu, curry is too sweet, rice is not Japanese rice, pickle is saggy, Bento with garlic butter squid taste very strange, teppanyaki chicken and beef is the only things we ordered that was okay. This is certainly the worst experience of Japanese cuisine we've ever had in NZ.
The food is consistently great, the service is charming and the ambiance seems authentic to me. Great place for a range of Japanese food. Highly recommended.
Very sugary and the food doesn't taste that great. I've been here around 10 times for various work and social events and i've yet to have a really good meal there. The food isn't terrible in any shape or form. But it's pricey for a very average tasting meal.

Great food and the staff went over and beyond to find us a table on a busy Friday. Such a great variety on the menu, including a separate vegan menu.
