Proper country pub with meals to match the best city eateries. Great outdoor area and playground for litte ones outside the restaurant in the garden area with picnic tables and a public bar at the other end of the building. Loads of parking. Highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, great presentation and food was fresh and tasty. The cheesecake for dessert was superb. Will definitely be going back.

Fabulous place if you have kids. Fenced off play area and good kids menu. Nice for grown-ups too although a little expensive.
Very nice meals ,would go again. Chicken Parmigiana was the nicest my daughter had. Pan fried blue cod on potato gratin, very delicious but could have done with 1 more piece of cod for the price we paid for that dish and deluxe burger was very tasty so my husband said.. Atmosphere was good.
We were told that it was a great place to visit. The staff were really pleasant loved the teapot and cup combination. But sadly the B B Q chicken bun was burnt and dried out from the over heating. Great atmosphere has potential but be aware of the fish smell from the kitchen not a good look.
Have driven past so many times and talked about coming here one day. Well today was the day and we weren't disappointed. The food was so good, even the kids have it 2 thumbs up. Friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be coming back.
