Magnificent. What a special place and experience. We stayed here before traveling into Oamaru on the Alps to Ocean cycle track. We had afternoon tea (Devonshire Cream Tea) in the conservatory and breakfast in the Dining Room.

Really quaint Homestead. The owners are really enthusiastic about the history of the place and are happy to show you all the old photo books. The rooms are Victorian themed and the beds are super comfy. The homecooked meal was great and plenty came from their garden. The flowers are amazing and there are plenty of nooks to read a book in. The highlight was definitely the wardrobes, but you'll have to go to find out!
Amazing historic place. The hosts go to great lengths to provide an old world experience of their fabulous property. The food is great, would definitely recommend.

If you want something different, this is it! You are welcomed and served in style (victorian) by the hosts. This gem, 15 min. outside Oamaru, brings you right back to the era. The house, rooms and garden are very well styled to the period. For the length of your stay, you feel like a lord.
Amazing place, great hospitality! My favorite place to stay in the South Island!
