Currently they have a house and a cottage. We booked and stayed in the cottage. 3 rooms with queen sized beds and 1 toilet. Rooms have a good size and the cottage itself it's very well equipped with brand new items. The beds are comfy. They have a good Internet connection and free WiFi. Smart TV with Netflix and etc if you wish so. You may also book the hot tub outside for an extra 20, it fits 2 people comfortable but you can manage to fit 4. The owners are very nice, friendly and have good communication skills. You can basically reach them anytime, not that we needed to do so. They also have plenty of apple trees. It's not included in the package but if you are lucky they might allow you to help them to pick some apples too. We enjoyed the experience and the region is beautiful with a lot of things to do nearby.
Good clean place to stay, house big with all facilities. Highly recommended.
Superb accommodation in a beautifully appointed house, a fabulous barbecue meal delivered that we cooked ourselves, a lovely hostess who goes over and above the call of duty ( however she couldn't quite sort the weather for our last day riding!) Excellent value for money - really recommend it

Such a beautiful part of New Zealand to stay for country walks and sightseeing. Melrose cottage is a comfortable home from home within a busy apple orchard run by Pernilla and Peter. Clean and cosy with all the mod cons, a hot tub outside and decks and gardens to enjoy. Dogs are welcome, the bbq packs are tasty and generous and the beds are very comfortable. Highly recommended
