Shocking service in the children's department. It wasn't busy but the two old ladies working were busy chatting with each other and didn't have the decency to show me where to find an item I'd already searched the whole shop for. They just pointed in the general direction and said "if it's not there then we don't have it." Then at checkout later (purchasing something else) they told me off for not having my club card on me. And told me I can't use any vouchers if I don't have the card. Perhaps the system should be upgraded then? I've never been in a shop where I've had to physically have the card to be able to spend loyalty points. Seems a bit outdated in this day and age. At any rate, having worked in customer service as well for the last decade plus, I'm shocked to find such terrible service, especially when there's so much competition out there.

Went there today. The upstairs staff at the children’s department were very helpful. Downstairs was another story. I have never experienced such rude customer service. I asked if they had a dress in a smaller size to a man behind the counter and before he could even speak a lady with short bobbed hair and a fringe snapped at me rudely and said there were no other sizes available. The man then abruptly said there were no other sizes available in NZ apart from Auckland and they don’t get things shipped down now. News to me as Farmers have done this before. I’ve been shopping at this store for years but I won’t be back now.

This is my favourite shop. I seem to be able to find nice clothing for both myself and my husband there. I also find sensible underwear for us both. The other departments are also good but I find their lipstick very expensive. The store is well laid out, the staff friendly and the shop is close to good parking.
