I'm not really into pubs but our afternoon there was great. Yummy lunch with great service. The ladies behind the bar lovely and helpful. A lot of history in that place.Overall great.

Ribs flavour was lovely, unfortunately ribs presented individually which always sets off alarm bells. The ribs were trimmed so severally there was no meat left on the ribs. No doubt the chef used my lunch to make another dish. It wasn't a lunch special meal either as was full price 20. Lovely flavour just left feeling hungry.
Forgotten orders, 50min wait for a special, cold tasteless food, kids running amok in a pub. If that's your thing, go for it. It was our first time there and will be our last. Luckily Feilding is blessed with plenty of excellent eateries.
I had ribs they was yummy did took around 45 min but understand able they have around 100 people in venue
On behalf of the Manawatu MX5 Club we had a fantastic place to have a group dinner. Very helpful staff went out of there way to make a great dinner night. Food and beverages were fantastic. A huge thank and we will be back.
The food was less than average. 3 out of 6 had the Cajun salad. Plenty of flavourless chicken and I mean no flavour at all, 1 cherry tomato, 2 slices of cucumber and the salad resembled a sad looking side salad. For 22 very disappointed and won’t be going back
Friendly staff, reasonably prices and a pleasant atmosphere. Would like to visit again next time we're down this way. Loved the music and very accommodating in our request to see the cricket
Wonderful food, good service and typical rural pub/hotel atmosphere. They accommodated our group of twelve and we all agreed that our meals were very, very nice which included cajun chicken salad, fish and chips, pork, beef and chicken schnitzel and the ubiquitous stockyard burger!! Yum, yum. The prices for the meals were spot on.
