Emily is amazing at what she does! I have had extensions for many years and after a recent bad experience I came across Emily. She squeezed me in on short notice and was incredibly kind and patient with the very difficult removal of my extensions and installation of a new set. The quality of the hair extensions that she uses is exceptional. What I loved most about my experience at Forbidden Hair was that Emily focused on how to improve my own hair (which is extremely fine) and took the time to suggest products to help repair the damage that had occurred from the previous extensions. I am incredibly grateful to have found Emily in Christchurch.

I have been using black supermarket dye for years and hairdresser Emily made me feel comfortable and has lightened my hair with no damage using Olaplex and recommending the best after care products at a good price. I saw Emily last week for full head foils, tone, olaplex treatment and installation of my first set of nano bead hair extensions and I couldn’t be happier with the results! After suffering from hair loss and breakage I wanted a change so I reached out to Emily who was able to offer advice via a initial phone consult and quickly scheduled me in for an appointment. She was genuine, friendly, and knowledgeable answering my many questions about maintenance and offering advice throughout the appointment. Within a few short hours I left a new woman, very happy with the results and with a huge confidence boost. I have been going to Emily for the last 10 years, I have had red, brown,black and blonde extensions over the years, and EVERYTIME she has matched them to my hair colour amazingly. My hair was severely damaged from a colouring I received at another salon and I was not feeling confident in how I looked. I did a bit of research on Hair Extensions and by FAR Forbidden Hair had the best reviews so I started with Micro beads and instantly left feeling Beautiful! They were amazing and I had soo many compliments. A couple of months later I wanted to go a lighter colour and I found that there was a new form of extensions called Nano beads. I booked in and im loving these ones even more they are smaller and this is even better because my hair is quite fine. My hair is growing back strong and I love how accomodating short notice appointments can be. Thank you so much for the Amazing Service
I've been seeing Emily for about 9 years now, great service and conversation. She definitely cares for my hair. She uses Olaplex which has been great for my hair and I used it on my daugthers crazy hair now her hair is stunning :)
