Great spot for authentic Japanese food! The chef their is brilliant. It’s like eating at home culture, we went for lunch but the dinner option looks great. You have to book in advance for dinner, but he caters to your requirements. The atmosphere was amazing, I’d recommend to anyone who likes a home feel for a restaurant and enjoys talking to the chef while he prepares your meal.

I do not recommend this place at all. We turned up 10 minutes late to get a grilling from the chef who was pointing a finger and very angry. That made me very uncomfortable and not welcome. Our table had dirty cups on it and also the table cloth had mould on it too. I needed a fork to use as I can’t use chop sticks to hear the chef say that we need to be taught how to use chop sticks. This place was dirty and not welcoming at all. Very disappointed!

Really disappointed.. was looking forward to a nice dinner however the chef was extremely rude and made us all feel very uncomfortable. The glasses on the table were dirty and the restaurant itself was very cluttered and untidy. We ended up leaving without eating as the chef was rude and came across as very angry. Would not recommend ️

Super authentic Japanese flavour which takes me back to the time when I was home staying in Osaka! The flavour and atmosphere feels like you are eating at a Japanese friend’s house. Thank you for the wonderful food and memory.

I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely revolting customer service. My family and I went there to try the chef's special, Omakase and although I had seen some mixed reviews about the restaurant on Google I figured there was no harm in going along... I was incredibly wrong. When we walked into the restaurant, the chef/owner glanced at us, then ignored us. I asked if we can take a sit as we made a booking but he didn't respond. We stood there for few minutes until he decided to give us a table. The only word he said was, 'Sit'. He was terribly rude. We had 12 course menu yet throughout the entire evening he didn't explain to us anything about the food we had ordered. Every meal he served we had to ask what it was. He seemed very angry the whole time we were dining. What disgusted us the most was when he asked "Why did you come to a Japanese restaurant when you are Korean". This is blatant discrimination. We paid 75 a person to only leave feeling hurt, discriminated and offended by this restaurant. This isn't the service any one should have to endure.

I've tried many kinds of ramen in Japan, even in Europe and Australia. But the taste of soup is the best among that I've tried in my life. Highly recommended to have it for sure !!

Today it is all about Fake news but after eating at Japanese Kitchen Sakura Fake Reviews would be accurate. After the reviews we couldn't wait to try it and despite being abused for being 10 minutes late we sat down to eat. Well, horror movies and train wrecks are fascinating to watch. So with awkward amusement we ate the sub standard food, giggled at the abuse sent our way for either not holding our chopsticks correctly, not leaving the place settings in the way the deluded chef wanted and not eating everything. Bad manners, bad man, bad karma. No Zen and like a McDonalds on a bad day - bloody expensive.
