Had an awesome weather to fly. Thanks to the whole team from office, the ground crew and pilot. Everyone took safety as a number 1 priority. My 3 year old son love it. It was worth going up and seeing glacier and snow landing. Recommend anytime and everytime.

We had a great morning doing the Heli hike. The girls in the office were lovely and explained things to us, regarding safety procedures for the flight etc. We got kitted out with everything we needed - jacket, trousers, boots and thick socks plus a bumbag for our phones and other bits. Bit of a false start due to low cloud over the glacier - the guides advised us what our options were but luckily the cloud cleared up and we able to head to the helicopter for our ride to the glacier just an hour or so behind the original schedule. The guides were great; Andrew (who we mistakenly called Mark the entire time, sorry) scouted ahead to find interesting points for us to hike to and explore whilst Welsh boy, Jake (lost in your eyes, call me) lead the way, had great banter and made sure we had an easier path through the snow. The whole time on the glacier was magical - the caves and views were stunning. Both guides were knowledgeable about all aspects of the glacier and surrounding mountains and ensured that we all got to experience the most we could during our time up there. Would 100% do the Heli hike again with this company. Felt confident, educated and safe and saw once in a lifetime views.

Great experience! We had a lucky break in the weather and were able to fly. Very experienced and professional pilot. Highly recommend....

Awesome experience with great enthusiastic guide! Must do while it is still possible and there is still ice at the Franz Josef Glacier and does not involve mountaineering.

booked a helihike that got pushed back twice because of the weather, we were bummed but very appreciative that the staff took health and safety so seriously. finally went when the clouds cleared and had an amazing time, our guide was very knowledgeable and easy going and it really was an unforgettable experience. our hike was cut short by maybe a half hour because of the weather, the pilot got us back quickly and safely but our poor guides got stuck on the glacier (luckily only for an extra hour or two). the did refund some of our money - although we still would have happily paid full price! we will definitely go again next time we’re traveling through.

Didn't do the hike just the flight and stop off on glacier. Absolutely awesome. Well arranged. Professional. I was in luck and got the front seat. If it happens to you play nice, get the other passengers details so you can send them your video as you really are in the best spot by far. Snow was discoloured by ash from Australia's bush fires. Loved it.

So the only way I don't give them 4 stars is that the heli hike was the highlight of our holidays and Romina was the best tour guide ever. Other than that a few things to note. There's no parking so you need to use paid public car park (for 500pp price tag they can do better). There's no instruction whatsoever on what you need so unless you're in campervan you might call and literally ask (eg don't forget your sunglasses even in winter). But the walk itself is worth the money so I'll let them have 5 stars.

Great Activity for Traveller in Winter Went during the shoulder season (Around June). It turns out to be the perfect season. It's Glacier, so it is not more cold than any other season. There were less people travelling. So the tour was in small size and very personal. The view is amazing! I was not very good at hiking in the ice. Jara and Nick helped us a lot while descending. Really Appreciate it!
