Great service, lovely attentive waitress, went out of her way to give us something extra. She picked up it was my birthday, made my dessert extra special. Steak was cooked as we asked. Been here several times and always enjoy our food. Well done team Furnace

We came here for valentines day and the atmosphere at furnace was warm and the staff were very welcoming! Furnace staff were also very helpful with our request for a table to seat my brother who is a big guy xx we also appreciate that they were able to hold our table as we were running very late but made sure to call and let them know. All our food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour!! Presentation was beautiful, we had already started eating and then i decided to take a pic. My beef cheek meal had mash potato that was almost silky smooth and the beef cheek just fell apart! The chicken meal came with perfect roast potatoes, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. If your a fan of seafood, you must try the chowder, it is very flavorful. We left here full and happy knowing we chose the perfect place to eat for a special occasion! Will definitely reccomend this place to anyone and will be back again!!
unfortunately this was one of the worst places I have ever been to eat. The food tasted like it had been frozen and the flavours were just plain bad. If it weren’t for the extremely high price I wouldn’t have given such a bad review...was just so disappointed. However, the service was lovely and the waiters were very attentive. Honestly, if you’re paying 47 for a main meal, you should at least be given a standard above pub food.
Food price is getting up there, so you would think the tastiness would too, however the chef was heavy handed with the salt in the main- Fish of the day in salty brine rather than flavoursome broth (3 of us had selected that dish, all with same response). Dessert was a hit with the deconstructed lemon meringue pie! The wait staff were amazing, checking in and pacing this well
We live in Auckland, saw this place online, drove to Hamilton for dinner and was well worth the trip. Outstanding service from Georgia from start to finish! The food was absolutely fantastic . Looking forward to visiting again.
What a lovely experience. Really great service and the food was on point! Highly recommended if you happen to be in Hamilton. Reservations is recommended as they do get busy for dinner.

What fantastic service by the beautiful Amelia... she really knew the menu and could not do enough for us with a smile on her face throughout. The steaks were Devine and done to exactly how we asked. The deserts were absolutely delicious. We will go back. Highly recommended.
