Mum and Dad have lived in Geraldine for about 16 years and this was the first time I'd visited here! Bad son. I loved this museum, heaps of great little exhibitions, and there's a decent sized extension too showing items about the Barkers industry. They're big on NZ native bats too, some of which live in Talbot Forest. Definitely worth checking out!

The Geraldine Historical Museum provides for present accurate interesting and comprehensive picture of local history. It was reflected in a diverse range of images chosen for the Historical Photograph exhibition. Highly recommend it.
Great piece of NZ history.
