Always my favorite place to stay Martin is the best host I've ever met! Always sad for our family when he's booked out, we usually postpone our holidays till we can get in here - atmosphere is so relaxing and calming & you meet the most wonderful people there too

The receptionist is very helpful and friendly, got a lot of recommendations of interesting places nearby from him. We booked for a twin bed room but end-up we got a cabin with a queen bed and 2 bunk beds with inside room kitchen. Location is far from the city center but it is very close to the Whangarei Falls.

It's a perfect place for backpackers or those who are looking for low-cost hostels around Whangarei. It is clean and comfortable. There is a mini pool as well. There is kitchen for anyone who wants to cook and also washing machine for those who wish to wash their clothes. Service is good too, staffs are friendly and helpful :)

Excellent experience due to nice facilities as well as the good location, also what make it welcoming was martin's kindly reception and complete information about the area and activities! Really good customer service!!

Quite possibly the worst service we have every received and unfortunately the facilities and grounds couldn't make up for the numerous times the owner was rude to my friends and wife, leaving them to feel uncomfortable and unvalued. The grounds are much smaller than they appear online, the tenting sites are squeezed into a small grass strip down the back of the park behind a number of what appeared to be permanent residents wearing black power patches.

Really nice and cheap place to stay. Rooms were very clean and tidy and were given heaters since it was winter. Facilities were great also with all the majors you needed and toilets clean. Showers were hot. Would have been great if the kitchenettes in the cabins had a sink but you got a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge. Would go back.

Beautiful falls, just be careful with kids. There are very unprotected areas that might occur a fatal accident. Therefore, you have to keep them under supervision all the times to avoid any fatality.

Great place to stay! We ended up staying for a few weeks. Tidy, well appointed cabins. The grounds are kept beautifully for tents and campervans. The pool, spa, showering and bathroom facilities are kept lovely and clean. Has a nice large kitchen for cooking meals, and seating around the park for outside dining. Very friendly and approachable staff.
