An interesting experience where you can get up close and personal with a variety of animals. On arrival you’re given a bag of pellets which allows you to feed the animals who eat straight out of your hands. The animals are friendly and enjoy human interaction. I went for the sole purpose of showing my 1.5 year old the animals but I enjoyed it just as much as he did. Lady who owns the place was super friendly. Recommended time: 30-60 minutes. Not suitable for rainy days as all the animals are outside. Was a smooth drive from Queenstown with plenty of photo stops.

Drive to the end of Paradise - Glenorchy Then you would meet these adorable animals that are so so happy to welcome you to their wonderland. The ticket is affordable, lovely and friendly animals. are waiting for you there. After you purchased, you can feed them nicely, talk to them (if you would like to) and they are so kind. Friendly remind you would be, Mind your steps! That's all I can say.️ Must visit this wonderland and highly recommended guys...

Glenorchy Animal Experience was fantastic! We had a lovely time petting, feeding, and cuddling the animals. Amazing views as well. The animals were all very friendly and well behaved, most were happy to be approached and they all ate the food gently. The owners are very welcoming, they explained how to feed the animals and were happy to have a chat. They're very passionate and caring about what they do, you can tell they treat each of the animals as loved pets. Highly recommend visiting while in the region!!

Nice people and happy animals! Really nice experience for not just kids! In the entrance you get a bag with feed and instructions (how to feed and who - please follow that :)). Animals there look happy and healthy and the whole place has really nice, positive vibes! Sheep shearing presentation (everyday) was the best! and They are also selling their free range eggs :) - taste as good as happy their chickens are - delicious. As I was scrolling through few negative reviews - do not consider them at all. If you (and your kids) are well behaved and able to follow the rules - you wont be dissapointed by owners behavior. Having work experience from similar business, you just need to be strict with the rules to keep your animals safe and happy.

What a great experience! Had fun feeding the Llamas and Alpacas, and the other friendly farm animals. Plus a magnificent view of the mountains that your whole family will surely love and enjoy.

Great experience! The animals are so tame you can definitely tell they’ve been hand raised and treated really well. An example to this is the chickens will let you pat them. They’re very timid animals so to have a big group of them who aren’t scared of humans was pretty cool. I’ve been to quite a few petting zoo’s and you can definitely tell the difference. Therese was hilarious and Rob was a good bloke, nice to chat to with.

Good stopover experience when in Glenorchy if you have kids. Set in a natural farm setting with stunning views around. My little ones were a little traumatized by the sheep shearing show though. The shearer seemed rather rough and the sheep was nicked and bleeding from some parts of it's body. Hoping that doesn't happen too often!

We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon at the Glenorchy Animal Experience. I visited with a group of three friends in mid October . We spent several hours wandering around meeting all the animals - most of whom are free roaming around a gigantic open area. We fed alpacas, sheep, pigs and the most beautiful donkey you've ever seen. Plus a stunner of a horse called Frank who majestically galloped over to us. There were lambs running around our feet. And the backdrop is spectacular. We basically had to be dragged out of there otherwise we would've all moved in. Super lovely people AND cute doggies. Would go back in a heartbeat.
