Don't miss this when in Glenorchy! We highly recommend the northern circuit, completed in an hour with picnic rests in between. The view from the Lagoon is absolutely scenic and picturesque. Easy path, some of the circuit is on boardwalk. Bikes and horses not allowed.

If you have spare time in Glenorchy you have to do this track. It's pretty simple and easy and you see many different views of the mountains surrounding it. If you are lucky, you may see the black swans wandering around the lagoon. And just so you know, this place must be amazing during autumn!!!

The track you MUST visit in Glenorchy. The track is divided into two parts-southern part and northern part. I’ve done both ones and have costed me around an hour. I personally suggest the northern part if you have to choose one, which is more naturally original, and the route paved on the lagoon is much more longer than that on the southern part.

Impresionante lugar, que trasmite una paz increíble, lo súper recomiendo. Depende el camino que hagas puede llevar de 30 min a 1 hs... Llevar repelente y mucha agua ya que no hay en donde recargar la botella... Por el camino hay diferentes lugares con mesitas para armar picnics ..

반지의 제왕 촬영 장소로 세트는 철거 되었지만 트래킹 경관이 사진을 찍게 만드는 곳. 두 개의 코스 모두 도는데 소요되는 시간은 2시간 남짓으로 어린이를 포함한 가족이나 연인들의 사진 포인트로도 너무 멋진 장소임. 호수에 블랙스완도 볼 수 있음.
