I have bought a bed frame with Coastwood Furniture through Harvey Norman and it was a disaster. It arrived covered with dents and the bed slats were cracked on one side being dropped. There also were black marks everywhere which are probably from water damaged as once we have installed the bed they do not sit flat. There were also finishing errors which have been fixed but only on the front and where the frame was not wrapped on the top. We understand that this is happened during lockdown but the most disappointing thing is like they do not care about the quality of the final product or even deliver it "in one piece". I do not recommend to buy a bed frame with Coastwood Furniture.
While on a road trip in September, we called into Coastwood and took the opportunity to discuss with Andrew Hill (Sales & Marketing Director) a problem we had in finding a ready-made entertainment unit that would suit our needs (and lounge-room). We provided some measurements and 'wants' and within 4 hours we were emailed a design concept and price. It didn't take us long to decide that this bespoke piece of furniture was exactly what we wanted. Seven weeks later, it's here c/- the fine people at United Movers. We couldn't be happier - many thanks to Tara for knitting it all together.
Had a console table made from the Nordic range. Did the entire process - stain colour, handle choice etc online. Very easy and despite their possibly being a significant wait for it to be built, was turned around super quick. Am yet to use the table, but it looks sturdy. well made and finished. Should have enquired about the drawer mounts, as would have prefered runners, but that's on me a bit. Would recommend using Coastwood, and will be back later for matching draw set.
Fantastic service, high quality workmanship and excellent communication (thanks Tara!). Coastwood were great in terms of constructing a custom designed drop leaf dinning table for us. The finished product was exactly as specified including a number of custom dimensions and some real challenges given the scale. The table was carefully packed and arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with finished product. Would highly recommend this company for your furniture needs.
I spoke to the woman who sounded like she had just climbed Mt Everest, Lisa I believe her name was. Very rude, obnoxious and quite possibly missing some vital brain cells. Gave me the highest price possible because she didn't like that I was getting quite frustrated that she didn't know her own products, despite them being readily available to her on her computer. It's a sad day for a business when you've got a person singlehandedly ruining a business because they refuse to invest in their own product knowledge and human relations skills and can't quite grasp that a customer who has spent almost 20,000 might just come back depending on how they're treated.
