Average service at best. Booked a car online only to be told when I arrived to pick up that its not available! The guy at the counter didn't seemed fased at all with the fact that there possibly be nothing for us to use. Eventually he found a a very old car which was half the size of what I actually booked. Anyway, when I returned it to there West Auckland site I was told there is an additional charge of 100 because I didn't take it back to Hamilton which I told the guy in Hamilton what my plan was!! There's plenty of car rentals around , so keep away for this one.

I had a good experience with this branch. First, the lady at customer service, I believe her name is Sahana, was very helpful and accomodating to my requests. Then, when I came to pick up the car it was clean and ready on time. All in all, it went well.

Hired a car from here for a night, booked it online and had easy pick up, great car, very clean and exactly what we had asked for. Enjoyed our trip away in it, and no issues at all, until we went to return the car Saturday evening. We had arranged the time for drop off (which was after hours) our booking told us to drop it at the place we picked it up from, we went to return it to discover there is no after hours drop off. We rang the call centre and were told we could not leave it where we picked it up from as we would be liable for any damage done to the car while it was parked on the street. We were then told to take it out to the Hamilton airport rental place (we were not once told this on pickup). Agreed we would, and started to drive out there and then realised they were already shut too, we tried to ring the call centre again but they were now shut. Ended up returning the car on Monday morning as we were not going to risk leaving it on the road. Very disappointed with this ending to our trip, as we were mucked around for an hour plus, with the man on the phone that didn’t know what to do. If there are specific drop off instructions please make sure your customers are aware of them before they drive off.

Budget Hamilton is the only place I rent vehicles from. The staff are always really helpful and friendly and quick to deal with any anomalies. Today, Devon was awesome, friendly, bubbly and most importantly, she was super efficient. I honestly think it's the best and only place for sweet vehicle rentals in Hamilton!
