Huge store with an enormous range of goods, to the extent that it can be hard to find what you want. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable, but there are only a few of them. More often than not they are helping someone else find something. There are bargains for people who look for them. The toilets were looking a bit worn, which I find ironic in a hardware store (when you have the tools, consumables and people available to keep it looking functional) and they needed a good clean.
Always someone available to help. At Mitre 10 you have to go find someone to assist you. Great job guys!

Helpful staff and good value products bought vinyl planks
Went to get some plumbing supplies for a few DIY jobs at home. Found most of what I wanted but needed some assistance to find one item I couldn't locate. There was only one person available in the plumbing department who was busy with another customer. Asked some other staff if they could help but all three of them said that they couldn't and told me to talk to the "plumbing guy". Went and stood besides the plumbing guy and the customer that he was serving for more than five minutes without him acknowledging my presence. Put all my planned purchases back on the shelf and went to Mitre 10 where I got to talk to someone and they sorted all my problems. Come on Bunnings.... How about getting a few more staff back in your store
I've never been in a Bunnings this big, it's great an I only looked in the plant section. I got kale an silverbeet plants for my winter garden. The staff helped me out twice an they were friendly helpful an had great sence of humour. Heaps of plants I could have filled my car. I love the shop but I'm sad the Bunnings in our town Te Aroha closed sob sob. Next time I go to Hamilton I'm looking throughout the whole shop of Bunnings. I'm bring my piggy bank lol
