Although there was a tatty OUT OF ORDER sign on my machine it did work for my Nissan Leaf. 35% to 80% in about 17 mins for 7.3 kWh and FREE. First try with a public charger and so easy.

The new Countdown chargers add a fantastic amenity for the EV owners of Hamilton and people travelling through Hamilton. The convenience of being able to charge up my vehicle whilst I shop for my groceries is a game changer! For now these chargers are free to use, but even when they have a fee attached I reckon I would still make use of them because of the fact that I get a good priority parking and it’s hassle free to plug in while I shop! Thanks so much Countdown!
A very nice features useful for travelers as well as the resident alike, and a great addition to Countdown. Park your EV and charge it up, and while waiting you can top up your groceries from Countdown; Have 3 charging spaces: 2 with Chademo and CCS2, while the other is Menekes Type2, but you have to bring your own cable.
