Two words to describe this place UTTERLY USLESS. As always when i choose a place i First read the reviews and there was a few bad ones relating to poor customer service/contact. I thought maybe its just a few off occasions BUT i was wrong same thing has happened to me. Took my washing machine in for them to look at. At first i was impressed by the friendly staff who greeted me but that's where it stopped. Has been a month and no follow ups or calls to say oh hey we are still waiting on parts. Called after 3 weeks to check progress and was told the part had not come in yet. i asked can you call the supplier and find out an eta as you know how tough it is being a single dad with a 3 year old child is. Was told he waited on the phone for 20 min and still did not get a answer. I asked well send a email and find out. Over a week as passed and still no contact from them. As someone in the service industry myself i would never let my customers down as much as this place has and i have been on the phone for hours chasing up parts and making sure the customer is kept in contact with People don't go here They can not provide a reasonable level of customer service

Had used these guys in the past and had great service from them, so when my washing machine handle broke I thought I'd use someone I'd used before. When I made my call this time the lady was very rude on the phone, she seemed annoyed about having to find the price for the part I needed. My partner ended up speaking to her when she called back. He went into the shop and ordered the part. He was told by them the part would arrive before the weekend. Hearing nothing I called on the Friday, only to be told the part was on back order and wouldn't be in for weeks. No attempt was made to call and notify us of this. After waiting 3 weeks and hearing nothing my partner ring them, the lady on the phone said the part was there and had been sitting there for a while and they were waiting for us to pick it up. At no time did we get a call to say the part had arrived. The communication skills with customers are poor the the attitude of at least one of the ladies is that she's over her job and doesn't want to have to do quotes. There won't be a next time from us we will take our business elsewhere in future.

This review would be 5 stars if I based it on the original interaction I had with Lawrence's. I had used them previously to fix my dishwasher which came back quickly with good communication from them. When my dryer and rangehood broke in May/June 2020, I immediately thought to get them in. When I initially called, they said to call back in a few weeks as they weren't able to fit in rangehood as they were very busy. When I contacted them at the end of July they came and picked up my dryer and said they would have to order in the part for the rangehood, which might take a couple of weeks due to covid etc. We didn't hear from them for 3 weeks and only when we called to inquire did they tell us that the dryer was ready to go and the rangehood part was still coming in. We had absolutely no communication from them after that and we had to call multiple times to get any info. Then we had to move house, which we called and informed them about multiple times when we checked on the order. We had moved out of the house when we got a call on the 16th of NOVEMBER 2020 that the part was in and was ready to be installed, so we had to sort out access to the old house for them. When calling to clarify the invoice the lady on the phone was rude and seemed irritated by my questions. Definitely subpar service and ineffective communication this time and a 5 month wait to get a single part on our rangehood replaced. The only reason we continued with the order is they were the only center that could get replacement parts for that brand.
