Was interested in a car and had it inspected on the 26th. The inspection was done and he gave me a call with a general rundown, basically saying that the car was fine with a couple of little things to look out for and ending the call saying he would have the report done and sent to me by that evening. I brought the car based on his verbal recommendation and the assumption that I would have a full comprehensive report. It's now the 15th of April and there is no sign on that vehicle report. In the weeks following he made excuse after excuse for not doing it, repeatedly saying "I'll have it done in a couple of days". He has not responded to any calls or texts for the last few weeks. This guy sounds like a lovely person, however for some reason has still not finished the work that was promised, and doesn't provide the general courtesy of letting me know how long the work will take or whether it will be done at all. I was under the assumption that the money I paid would get me more than just a phone call essentially saying "yeah it all looks good". If you see this bro can you return my calls and finish the service you promised.

A BEST MECHANICS IN HAMILTON, IF NOT THE WHOLE OF NEW ZEALAND! First took my car to Fauster to fix my rear rotors and pads - having called him LAST MINUTE as I was heading off on a business trip to Gisborne. He went out of his way to source the parts needed, get back to his workshop and get the job done pronto - so that I was off on my trip in a flash! He has since also worked on my 12 meter Mercedes Bus - completing all work with speed, proficiency and quality. In my experience, H & M mechanics offers the most HONEST, TOP QUALITY, THOROUGH and even ABOVE AND BEYOND, workmanship that I have found to date in NZ. Called this company on a saturday when our car broke down. Was told they could come take a look once they had finished the job they were on. Txtd them twice to get an update and no response. 30 hours later no reply txt to say they could not attend. That was all they meeded to do. Be wary of calling this company.
