This is NOT a review but a query. I am in the process of looking for a vet to take over care of my Boy as we have moved. My query is why all the positive feedback received a response from the practice owner but no response to the devastating negative feedback? When “shopping” for a vet this is one of the most vital aspects that we look at.....genuine care and compassion.

If I had the choice of a zero star, I would. On the 31st of December we took our beloved cat in for the last time. After we noticed her stomach was starting to swell abnormally, we booked an appointment as soon as we could. We paid a lot (as any person would for their beloved animal) to have her tested and stomach pumped. Later on we were advised she had Lymphoma. We then took her in on the 31st of December to have her stomach pumped again. She was put under and was out for about an hour. After they were finished they advised us she would most likely have 1-3 months left, but most likely 1 month. Less than 24 hours later she passed away on our couch. Not only was the loss hard enough but the way she went. She was in agony, her organs were failing slowly. She was moaning in pain while throwing up blood. To spare you other gruesome details, she suffered the worst death anything can endure. Along with that, The family who loved her and sat with her had to witness this, in all its horror. Like a scene from the worst horror movie one can see. We will never forget this, we are very traumatised and heartbroken. The last memory we have of our beloved cat will be the most horrific and painful day of not only our cats life but ours. This is appalling. ACTUAL Veterinarians would have told us, and we would have had her put down humanly . We will never get over this.
I've come here for years and have always had great experiences. Kind, friendly staff who genuinely love animals. Consistently receive clear, concise information relating to my dog's needs and advice on her health. Very happy with with this Hamilton Veterinary Services and I'd highly recommend them!
Great vet with excellent service and good value. We also love the cattery for our fussy cat.
I went there to pick up my Snip and Chip 20 Voucher, it is so worth it! The staff are very helpful and to the cat that lives there, I was blown away, he sat at the door waiting for someone to open the door, one of the staff opened the door to let him or her in. So cute! Thanks for your services SPCA.
Great service. Young vet but knew his stuff definitely going to take our dog back when in need
New to the city and so happy to have found this vet center. They're caring, flexible, informative, and so compassionate. Hope not to need a return visit anytime soon, but feel comforted by the fact we have such a good team to return to should we need to :)
