Excellent place to shop, very clean up in the top shop. A little expensive compared to the Salvation Army toy prices...nonetheless I do understand why their prices are a bit high for people on the benefit or pension. The lady & men staff are very friendly.

We went here yesterday and they have some awesome items but I would classify this more of an antique store than an opportunity shop. Great that it goes back to a good cause. They also have a huge warehouse which is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The staff there are very nice and assisting.

I felt extremely uncomfortable as soon as I entered the store ..people following me around , I felt very discriminated against as a Maori woman .. it was so easy for them to follow me around in store.but very rude when I asked for help !!was appalling!!I hav anxiety due to past experiences.i don't get out often..and I get easily anxious when out and about and in closed spaces....the ladies there are so openly rude.i feel they have just become accustomed to treating people that way ?! I work in customer service in an extremely high pressured environment & no matter what !!! I've never assumed or discriminated against or been so rude to anyone. I dont recommend hospice lake road to anyone.

Nicely laid out, but you need to know how they work, as it appears they don't bring all the items upstairs, but sell downstairs on a certain day and time.

What a great place. Staff is always helpful, good quality goods at really bargain prices. The main shop is especially nice, always well laid out, very appealing. Be careful not to get carried away!

Far to expensive. Many items youd be better off buying brand new as very highly priced. Hospice care is awesome, but the shop is a rip off considering the goods are donated.
