This is a decent sized stationery and book store. They have a good range of office supplies and stationery, fiction and non-fiction books, greeting and birthday cards, and the service is friendly. There is a lotto desk and they are agents for the post office, so courier bags can be bought and sent. The setting, in Centreplace, is convenient with pedestrian access to the Centreplace carpark literally a few metres away.

Reading a previous review "horrible customer service especially that male staff" - I wonder if this is the same person I encountered today. There may be a good reason he was grumpy, you don't know what's going on for people, but if you are in a customer facing role I think you should make an effort. As well as cards and stationery, I have bought a number of books over the years, but I won't be going again.

An extremely helpful lady whose name I have now forgotten (poor form I know.. But maybe Linda or Lydia) took payment over the phone and sent an amazing little book I couldn't find anywhere in the south island and posted it to me. It arrived within a few days. Excellent service
