We were looking high and low for a mattress topper to use on our existing foam mattress. We found out that there was a Para Rubber in Te Rapa. We were served by the most patient young man who was very helpful. Its always pleasant to be treated well when visiting a store of any kind. He was awesome!

Came in to purchase some foam for a chair about three weeks ago.. Took ages to be served and i was ignored with people after me being served first. The lady who served me wasnt rude as such...but she wasn't helpful. Even though I was asking her advice...she wouldnt really answer my questions was vague and seemed not to really give a dam. I ended up getting a foam (after she promised it was suitable) that is a complete expensive failure. Para rubber...you have a niche market. You have very little direct competitors. But it doesn't mean you need to be apathetic towards your customers.
Tidy shop with lots of stock. Very busy but only one retail clerk on duty?.

I visited Para Rubber on a Wednesday a little while ago. I would just like to express my many thanks to the staff as I was looked after very well. I was greeted when I entered the store and the staff were more than happy to assist when I asked for help. I found the staff to be very knowledgable in the products I was looking for. I was thanked when I left the store. So a huge thank you to the staff that were working on the day I came through.
Excellent service, the young lady who served us was amazing.
Worst customer experience ever. We went there to buy a new mattress with some cuts to make. The saleswoman was completely unpleasant and cold. She talked to us as if we were dumb. We spent 300 in the store and she didn't say goodbye and ignored us after we payed. We were supposed to receive a Phone call when the cuts were done, we are still waiting... So we come back the Day after and she had the same behaviour. Para Rubber is lucky to be the only store around Hamilton but if you can avoid it... Specially if you are travellers or tourists. I put one star only because the young assistant was kind with us.
Absolutely brillant service by Julie & Donna at Para rubber Store in Hamilton today. They took extra time to cut my customer drawn foam pieces (there were lots), did an absolutely accurate job. This was of tremendous help for getting my project on the way. Thanks so much, I highly recommend this place, 5 star customer service.
