I could NOT recommend this business to anyone. We were booked in for a tow bar to be fitted today. When the booking was made we were told to bring our car in between 8 and 8:30a.m. and the car would be ready by mid afternoon. As we had to travel for an hour to reach Hamilton we requested a courtesy car, and on collection the time for the job to be complete was verified as mid afternoon. When we had received no communication by 3:30 we tried ringing, repeatedly, but the phone was never answered. Tired of hanging around a shopping centre by then we drove back at 4:40 only to be informed that as our car was fifth in line and a staff member being sick the car would not be ready until 5:30. So a few issues ..... 1. Why did we have to drop our car off at 8:15 when it wasn't even going to be started on until after lunch. 2. Why the heck didn't they communicate with us during the day about the delayed completion, if given the choice we would NOT have waited around all day, but cancelled the fitting. 3. For goodness sake, why won't you answer your phone. All up, by the time we left home until we returned it took 12 hours just to fit a tow bar. Absolutely fed up.

Highest quote for a towbar to date !! There are way more affordable options. Suggest going else where. Their quote was way over double what I paid to fit the same type of towbar last year. Lady who answered the phone was rude plus they didn’t really sound like they knew what they were doing. I ended up getting a towbar fitted by towbar express which is an excellent company to deal with and I believe they have a better designed towbar in my opinion. I’ve been a truck driver/engineer for almost 30years so know a little about towing. If you want to pay too much for a substandard towbar suggest going to Pro Bars. If you want the best quality and best price go to towbar express :)

I booked my other car in for a tow bar installation about 2 1/2 weeks ago and when I called to confirmed the time to drop the car off I was told my appointment had been cancelled and that no bookings were being taken this side of Christmas. I am disappointed I had to make the call to find this out. A bit of a shame after such good service the first time I dealt with Pro Bars.

Didnt think a tow bar could go onto my car but happily proven wrong. Looks mint as. Price was reasonable and done within the day due to it being custom made.
