traded my Yamaha 6hp outboard on a good 2nd hand Honda 10hp. Paul was excellent with handling the deal and when I got home I did a check on the oils etc. engine has had a fresh service and even the spark plugs look new. not often you buy a 2nd hand engine and it comes with fresh oils .

I was a client of Rollos for many years, bought couple of motors from them and was servicing boat there. Last year I used their free winter check and also asked for trailer WOF - was charged about 90 as they do not issue WOF themselves, but it was worse saving my time. This year I came again with same request and estimation price was 300. Explanation given by Dave was that that it is for WOF and checks are still "free". Great! The Fish City offered the same day 150 bill for paid check procedure and WOF. 300 for WOF??? Guinness book of records, please! As I promised, after final of ths story I added a star. It was explained by manager that it was "misunderstanding" by my wife about pricing, but she is a one who deals with all our machinery and understands well terms and conditions. So as I see it was an attempt to add unwanted service to "free check" to a lady who probably has no idea what it is all about. But she appeared to be understanding (what a surprise!) and didn't let to fool her. Beside Dave, others are quite normal there - friendly and helpful.
