Great little place. Very relaxed and casual, wander about the gardens or look at the birds. Kids can play with the guinea pigs at their leisure, or feed the birds peanuts. These people have turned their private property into a lovely oasis of nature.

Great place to park your motorhome if you are an NZMCA member. And to see exotic and native birds up close and personal. Murray the owner has a battle going on with the council over a proposed road for which they want to take a big chunk of his land including lots of trees. Some of the trees are Kauri. There is no need for this road to go through his property as there are alternative routes.

Lovely place, so beautiful and peaceful. Well maintained. A lot of care and love for the animals and nature is very apparent. My son loved playing with the bunnies and guinea pigs

This place is magical and the owners are awesome. The Hamilton city council has plans to wipe it out for a new road and filtration ponds while just 600 meters to the south is empty land that the council owns and the existing road. It would be such a shame to lose this place that most people don't even know is here.

Sad to think this place might not be around much longer. What a beautiful and stunning we place. Highly recommend. And so friendly. Will be back time and time again.

Absolutely lovely place. Nice pram friendly walks, decent amount of birds to look at as well as small animals to pat. Highly recommend get in there before HCC tear it up potentially.

Great place to camper park for a few days close to city. Just donate a few bucks to help feed the birds
