Had a great time. Galileo exhibit was very interactive. Interesting exhibits. Personally really liked the donations of "personal treasures", which were very engaging. The photo exhibit of children around the world, very thought provoking also.

As a family of 3. The Waikato museum is always a must visit. Great exhibitions. We all loved the Galileo one currently on display. Another one is the exhibition of children from around the world and their bedrooms- quite emotional.

Great museum conveniently located right in the heart of Hamilton city centre with a good range of interesting permanent and temporary exhibits. Does a great job of telling the Māori and Pākehā stories of the Waikato from the arrival of the Tainui waka (canoe) until today. Free entry except for special exhibitions.

Went to an Easter egg hunt at the museum. It was a clever idea for young ones. However, I think the age range was wrong. I think the program would of best suited 7 years and under. But in saying this. Afterwards, we did the egg and hunt picture find. Which gave us the opportunity to see all thw museum had to offer, which was very cool. " Where Kids Sleep", I especially liked.

The interactive science areas were really great and well worth the entry fee. Something interesting for all ages - my boys are 10 and 12 and they had a lot of fun. I'm 40-something and enjoyed it too :)
