I had an amazing experience on Sunday. There is a cafe on board which you can also order food and drink(non-alcohol/alcohol). I would say all of the dishes are good and tasty. Especially the price is not expensive at all. I fall in love the this river and the spectacular view. Departure time at 12:00pm for 2 hours is my highly recommended. Book online and select the food you like is also convenient. Why not try to experience this by yourself?

Timetable was a bit off but the actual trip was really good food ok staff pleasant and friendly Not sure if waikato cruise responsible or council but a bench seat would be good at the ramps for us oldies
I enjoyed the morning trip and thanks to the knowledgeable captain for the great commentary throughout the 2 hour ride, I learnt a lot about the mighty Waikato River. Although we did not eat on board, the food looked amazing and the prices of meals and drinks were very reasonable. Keep up the awesomeness guys and thank you for the trip.
Went on the dinner cruise on the saturday just passed and very poor service, staff forgot to come to our table and by the time they did take the order 3 or 4 food options we selected we were told they all sold out - finally got out meals 10 mins before the boat arrived back and was a rush to finish the food, staff on serving wernt very good either not professional and using mobile phones etc

Great way to spend a lunch, food was amazing. The information from brook the captain was fantastic! Lived in hamilton my whole life and he taught me things! 10/10 will be coming back in summer for a afternoon cruise
