Very well maintained, a bit tricky to get the signage, sometimes you go in circles, better to have each entry named instead of common signs. On the mid to easy scale but very enjoyable. Stayed at top 10, very easy entrance to the tracks.

Awesome. Jollies pass road. Under the bridge has been cleared of big rocks. Start from the road go down the gravel bit beside the river fast and ride across the stream . Great way to cool off as you come out of the Bush. Water goes right over the top of you. Awesome fun for kids.

Great walks and rides here, the carvings/ sculptures are amazing. Not really any views as it is in the bush.

Hammer Springs’ main mountain biking destination for track riding and family-friendly tracks. Currently (summer season December 2017) the main mountain biking tracks at Woodland across the road are closed due to fire risk, but on this side of the road, the ‘Easyrider’ trails remains open. about 6.2 kilometres of a loop track, mainly single track riding, we did two loops, kept us busy for over and hour.... pick up a trail map from I-site and/or check out the board across the road for the trails. The ‘easyrider’ is a nice trail for all abilities of riders - reminded me of Taupo’s famous ‘tourist trap’ - deceptively simple but since it’s ‘smooth and fast’, you can work up a nice burn. There’s two offshoot tracks within this circuit, the ‘alligator’ and ‘perseverance’, both less than a kilometre long.
