Best local food joint in Maungaraki. Lots of choices to cater for all different taste buds. It's reasonably priced, clean, and tasty.

Crumbed Fish Burger for 5.80 is always so fresh and very well sauced. Always ask for Lemon Pepper, it makes everything taste 2x better.

I dont normally post reviews, but in my opinion, this is the worst fish and chips in the lower and upper hutt region. Chips, potato fritters, hotdogs were burnt dry. Fish burger was a dry tasteless overcooked piece of fish between two dry buns with the smallest smear of coleslaw. Very disappointed

The fish was over cooked so the fish and the batter were dry - had to throw it away. The kumara chips were overcooked to the extent of being a bit burnt. The potato chips were uninspiring. Over all a bad experience.
