Very judgmental staff member (indian or similar) kept looking at me in the self service checkout. Not a smile or a hello used, looked like a duty manager. The one star comes from public, nice people acknowledging each other and being polite. The people of Hastings are this stores Saving grace.
A bit dire at the moment. Aisles filled with staffdoing online orders. Difficult to maneuver as other staff also stocking shelves. Not helped by new building going up and lack of car spaces. Hope it improves once new supermarket finished
As expected. Stocking issues in afternoon so would suggest morning shopping

I went through the checkout and had gone over my budget, I had to decide what I was going to put back and the very kind lady behind the checkout told me it's ok and she would pay for the remainder items. I cried because I was really struggling and I got home and rung countdown and spoke to the employee who answered the phone, I told her the lady's name that helped me and I asked that they really acknowledge her for what she did. I was truly grateful and blessed. I look forward to paying it forward to another person in need. What an inspirational person. God bless her.
