Hawkes Bay Security were amazing. They installed a security system and CCTV cameras for our home and business. Greg and his team were friendly, efficient and professional and completely put us at ease with our security solutions. Unprofessional, technically incompetent and dishonest. Phoned and emailed numerous times without any response or action, and each time someone had 'forgotten' to pass on the message. When we sent our unit and pagers down for replacement and re-coding of the pagers they 'sat on Greg's desk for weeks because no one knew where they came from'. Finally returned the unit and two new pagers which we paid 487 for ... but they only worked one at a time. Had to send everything back, costing us \u003e50. Finally had a working system more than 5 months after starting the process. Then suddenly received a rude and angry email demanding payment for another 95 for re-coding the pagers again after they had failed to re-code them correctly the first time. This invoice was never sent, nor was there any reminder before the aggressive demands. When questioned, he gave the excuse that a fuse needed to be replaced for the coding to work ... but the unit worked alone, and with one pager at a time so I can't imagine how a simple electric fuse in the unit makes one pager work and not the other. There must be a faster, more professional, more competent and more honest company out there - don't use these guys!
Installed a heavy duty security system in couple of my houses and HB security were great, they come check it yearly and do the fire alarms as well are a part of it. Just adding on cameras now, better to be safe than sorry lol
Arrived to check out my alarm fault within 30 minutes of my call. Turned out there was not fault - but the technician was excellent to deal with and didn't make me feel like an idiot for not having a fault!
