Cosy little spot. Had quite a few animals pay a visit which I quite enjoyed! Including a sheep that walked right up to me while I was setting up the tent. Don't be alarmed if you hear some heavy footsteps passing by in the night, most likely a small heard of cows grazing. Hot water was good at night however it was a little cool in the morning. Not sure why the toilet roll dispensers are so low..? I would suggest mounting them a little higher and keeping the soap dispensers filled. WARNING to potential campers about rubbish: there is no dump so be prepared to take it with you. Overall, enjoyed my stay.

Not what you would expect when you drive in. Proprietor was awesome the unit we had was great and a good night's sleep, locals that stay in this park are nice and friendly. I see they have camping and motor home sights also down the back

A very chill relaxing holiday park, the amazing beach was a nice flat 5 minute walk, plenty of grassy grounds to choose where you wanted to stay, the host Bill was so lovely and helpful, nothing was a problem. The long term campers were really good to talk to and knew a lot about the places to visit. Probably not the place to stay if you are used to the Hilton and like being pampered just a Fantastic good Ole kiwi campground.

Motel units are nice and relatively modern, with a decent bathroom but the bed was beyond clapped out, same with the couch. There was a strong smell of septic every so often, so maybe after toilets were flushed. Grounds are nice with lots of old trees and lots of shade, I did not visit the camping area or look at any of those facilities. Young guy who checked us in was very helpful and friendly.

Very welcoming, helpful staff. Beautiful spot a short walk from the beach. Grounds are well kept, with flowers and lots of trees providing shade. This makes for a magnificent dawn chorus. When we were there (NYE period) there was a girl serving great burgers in the evenings. Facilities are a little old but tidy enough. And one can’t expect a resort in such a quiet corner of the world, just enjoy the peace

real average. only 2 stars because the grounds / plants were lovely. would recommend driving further even if it takes you another hour to get somewhere. no soap, most of the toilets don’t lock, owner knows that online prices aren’t right but doesn’t seem to care as he preys upon the tired tourist. prices are a bit ridiculous for the state of the dirty, old facilities

Great price and facilities were clean and awesome. Hot showers. Wild horses on the beach. Great fishing 10min drive away. Best place we stayed on our trip
