Highly recommend Kiwi Timber. Large selection of building materials, timber, accessories and landscape product (bulk and bagged). Handy being located in Horotiu, no need to go into Hamilton city plus they have courtesy trailers available. Team are very friendly and always helpful.

Had a bad experience here. I was wanting 6 x H4 number 2 rounds at 3.6m long. I called and was told by a lady called Yvonne that they were in stock! I was quoted a price per pole. About a week later I called to check they were still in stock as I was driving over from Tauranga to pick up. Alarm bells rang this time as she kept referring to the poles as 100x100 (not sure how you get a square post out of a round) but anyway I reiterated round post about three times and I was told there were 40 odd in stock! I made the drive over from Tauranga only to be told by the guy in the yard that they don't normally stock them being 3.6 long! They yard guy called her up over a radio and she tried to blame someone else in the office and basically denied even taking my call. Wasted hours of my time plus fuel cost.

Always get great materials and service from Kiwi Timber. Can't speak highly enough about the Staff who are so friendly and knowledgeable. Although I live over 20km away they are far the best place to buy my Supplies. 10/10 I got a quote for boundary fence materials delivery from my local Placemakers in Huntly, then i went to pay for it with my 'Know How' card the store person increased the delivery charge by 150%. I went to Kiwi Timber Horotiu instead for a cheaper deal including delivery to Huntly.
