Great selection of books and antiques, we have never been disappointed going here. Owner may seem brusque but when you start talking to him, you will realise he is really knowledgeable and passionate about the things in his shop. Take the time to try to get to know them!

Great collection of second hand books to choose from, never been disappointed shopping there! Man who runs the place offers fair cash for collectables, toys and books you no longer need! People who complain about the shop should go to Cash Converters, which they seem to have confused it with! Recommended!

Bought a set of DVD's and very happy with communication, quality of the product, fast and very good service. All at a very good price. Cheers.

At best, the store owner is unfriendly, unprofessional and unhelpful. My last encounter here was when we were moving & downsizing. I brought in a large number of items to see if they were interested in buying any. The grumpy man in charge wouldn't let me unpack my own boxes & wouldn't let me watch while they shuffled my belongings around. After an uncomfortable negotiation, he bought some things, then his staff repacked the rest & hurried me out. When I unpacked, I discovered that an item that hadn't been in the pile he purchased had disappeared - strangely the only true 'antique' among my items: a very old watch. I contacted the shop about the missing watch, and the replies convinced me that the loss was not accidental, particularly as he did not even bother to check if the watch had been misplaced while his staff were moving things around. His correspondence then became increasingly bizarre, including him sending me numerous emails but telling me he would not read anything I sent him. My advice to other buyers & sellers: steer clear or keep your eyes open!

From my experience I have not seen any of this Horrible customer service most of these reviews are about. Yes the man at the desk may look grumpy but to me he just comes off as tired individual who knows his stuff. It also looks like he runs the shop by himself aside from other workers that are some times there but it's mostly just him in there which can be stressful he's also probably doing work on his computer while your walking around so he cant always pay attention to where you picking up the items. Sorry I have finished ranting.
