Bit of a Kiwi favourite. Great location far from the beaten track. Great food, huge portions. Save up and get the crayfish, it's amazing.

Wow what a cool place at the end of the road. We visited 3 days ago on a rainy day and it was warm and welcoming inside. The staff were friendly and cheerful. We really enjoyed the seafood chowder and a glass of wine to go with it. Great storm watching and views from inside. It's definitely worth the drive to dine here.

This caravan is excellent. Great chips, excellent blue cod battered, chips are crispy, flat whites so creamy with an excellent creamy crema. Flavour is the best, views are awesome. From sitting at the window table looking out to sea you can see the mount cook range . Beautiful clear sunny warm day with no clouds over the mountains. Sea is calm, no wind.

The bright orange cabin on the shore of Jackson Bay is the place to go for epic views and good seafood. Plum and chilli prawns were delicious and the salad alongside it was just as good! So often side salads are disappointing afterthoughts, but not here. Just as good as the rest of it! Hubby had the seafood chowder which was brimful of real, delicious seafood. Creamy and amazing. Highly recommended!

This is a special place, literally at the end of the road. Fish and chips done well in a quirky setting. Don't expect fine dining, just good food. Eftpos and paid WiFi also available.

The crays were delish and worth every cent. We shared our meal and had a bowl of chips to go with our cray tail and salad. The blue cod was also very good.

Expected zillions of sandflies but not blowflies in the dining area. No screens nor attempt to clear them out. Fish was nice, chips average. Not complaining about the food just the amenity.

Amazing view to eat by the sea and friendly service! Seafood chowder was great (lots of seafood inside). Cod fish and chips were really good! Great salad with the Plum prawns however it was a bit on the expensive side for the prawns (comes sitting in a bowl of sweet chilli sauce).
