Awesome place to stay. Spent 1 night here in the kiwi cabin, what a great way to relax after walking all day. The hosts are extremely helpful, friendly and really enjoy their area, not to mention always happy to give advice. The facilities were well kept, clean and very looked after. Full kitchen made camping easy too. The kiwi cabin is excellent for a couple looking for a place to stay that isnt in a tent! Comfy bed, warm, dry, quiet and fly screens to protect you from bugs were some of the highlights if this small space. 100% recommend this holiday park to anyone who is travelling to the West Coast! Support local and book your stay, as you won't be disappointed. You might even get the chance to see a kiwi while your checking their very own glow worms! Thanks for having us!

A wonderful experience. The most amazing wildlife and glow worms to add that wow factor. Great walking trails to a waterfall and an abandoned quartz mine and the above mentioned glow worms. The amenities are very clean. The pictures speak for themselves. Need two days here. The camera could not take pictures of all the glow worms but did get one.

Such a fantastic place, we loved staying here. Everything is well thought out with so many lovely little touches - free range eggs for sale from the camp chickens, native trees everywhere, walking tracks to see glowworms, flowers in the bathroom. The showers feel just like at home, no coin-operated limit on hot water. Kitchen looked well equipped and very clean (we cooked in our campervan). Lovely views of the mountains from our campsite. Owners were kind and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Lovely place to stay. We only stayed in the lower carpark as a quick budget overnight stop but suited us perfectly. Thanks.

A peaceful area, surrounded by the forest (no reception at all on your smart phone, had to lay 6 to get 10 GB WiFi). One of best spots we had for our tent. Good kitchen and bathroom, unlimited hot shower, they provide hairdryer in bathroom. One of best spots to see glow warm at night, and we had exercise in the morning to see mini falls with its clear water, and drove along Arthur’s pass to enjoy the other planet view (awesome mountain range and hills).

Lovely setting, a very warm welcome with fantastic showers and facilities. The waterfall was really nice after a 30 minute walk although there was a surprise obstacle (big fallen tree) near the beginning that could maybe do with better directions/clearing around. Would love to stay here again!

Don't read those negative review, there was nothing negative about the place. Staff was great. Wish we could stay longer. Will definitely will come back.
